The Grape & Its Cultivation: This grape is the undisputed queen of the Adriatic coast. It thrives in the warm, sun-drenched vineyards of Istria, where the sea breezes protect it from disease and impart a unique character.

Winemaking & Styles: It is most often made as a fresh, aromatic white wine fermented in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant character. However, some producers also make complex versions aged in oak or with a short period of skin contact, adding texture and depth.
